- You are required to fill in the correct details including account number, credit card number and other requirements. In the event of any inaccuracy in this regard, the funds could be transferred to incorrect accounts or the same may lie with us in suspense account. We are neither responsible nor guarantee recovery of the said amount thereafter. You therefore agree that you shall take all care and due diligence to ensure that there are no mistakes and errors and that the information given by you in this regard is error-free, accurate, proper and complete at all points of time. You indemnify HDFC Life and the Bank from any loss due to an error on your part. Your usage of the services is at your risk. You must evaluate and bear all risks associated with the use of any content including reliance on the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any content.
- Payment to be made on or before the premium due date. Neither HDFC Bank nor HDFC Life shall be responsible for any online payments made beyond the due date through the Internet not being processed by the Company. The payments made are against normal live policies.
- The payments received by us for lapsed policies will be held back in our suspense accounts. You agree and undertake that you will provide the necessary documentation and details for reviving the lapsed policies. Any amount received by us against such lapsed policies would be refunded without interest thereto (after deducting the charges for providing services).
- Premium payment made should be equal to the premium amount due. Part/Short payment will not be accepted. Please check your account statement for payment debited and which has been charged to your account by HDFC Life. Although we will use reasonable endeavours to maintain the content, we also request you to keep the copies and details including backup copies of the content. We do not undertake to provide support or maintenance services for the content.
- You agree that the Credit Card is in the name of the policyholder and the risk under the insurance plan and the policy will be assumed and continued by HDFC Life only after your account is debited with the premium.
- That the credit card issuing bank is neither acting as an insurance agent of HDFC Life nor yourself in accepting the debit to the credit card account with the premium amount, or otherwise dealing with the premium amount payable under the policy, in any manner.
- In relation to this Payment Gateway and any information or services available from this Payment Gateway, we disclaim all representations and warranties of any kind including, to the extent permitted by law, all representations and warranties as to satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose.

- If any excess premium is received by HDFC Life then the same shall be refunded on the same account/ credit card subject to availability of respective account details for NEFT except for policies on monthly or quarterly frequency. Excess amount will be settled for the next due premium for policies on monthly and quarterly frequency.
Please note: HDFC Life shall not be liable to pay any interest on the said amount
- I authorize HDFC Life to debit premium starting from the next premium due date, which falls after the date of submission of this e-mandate, and it will continue till the last premium due date, unless the instruction is revoked by me.
- I authorize HDFC Life to activate mandate on a higher amount than the actual premium amount, keeping a buffer to ensure successful auto-debit in future.
- I authorize HDFC Life - In case a preferred debit date is selected, the debit attempt will be made on the Preferred Billing Date, instead of the premium due date.
- I authorize HDFC Life to register mandate for a few days beyond the policy term to debit last premium in grace, if asked by me.
- I ensure to fund my account / card before the due date. Non receipt of Premium by grace end date may result in interest & late fee charges on policy. I hereby agree and confirm that in case of delay in premium debit interest and late fee charges as applicable shall also be debited from my account / card.
- By entering the otp you are giving consent for debiting your YES Bank Account for making payment of the renewal premium towards your insurance policy("Policy") as well as authorizing YES Bank to auto-debit your YES Bank Account towards the renewal premiums of policy during subsistence of the Policy.
- You hereby further agree and confirm that, 2 days prior to the renewal premium due date YES Bank shall be auto-debiting your YES Bank Account for collection of the renewal premium. However, if due to any reason the auto-debit cannot be executed, then in order to protect lapse of the Policy, YES Bank shall make daily re-attempts for debiting the renewal premium upto 30 days grace period and post that every 8 days till 120 daysor till successful debit of the renewal premium whichever is earlier. Please ensure to fund your account before the due date. Non receipt of Premium by grace end date will result in interest & late fee charges on your policy. You hereby agree and confirm that in case of delay in premium debit interest and late fee charges as applicable shall be debited from your account.
- I agree to pay the Convenience Fee (incl. applicable taxes) that Payment partner of HDFC Life will levy while paying premium via Credit Card, and understand that such fee shall be non-refundable.
- I acknowledge that HDFC Life is not liable to provide any invoice for Non-Refundable Convenience Fee (incl. applicable taxes) that Payment Partner will levy and the fee will not be adjusted against my policy.
- I understand that in case of auto-debit registration, for all subsequent premiums collected via Standing Instruction on my Credit card, convenience fee (incl. applicable taxes) shall be levied by the payment partner of HDFC Life, and such fee shall be non-refundable.
- I agree that if complete premium amount is not paid within prescribed time via Split Payment option, convenience fees (incl. applicable Taxes) will not be refunded.
